ISO 27001 is the only internationally-recognized standard for information security management. Award-winning uninterruptible power supply manufacturer Riello UPS has announced that, after successfully completing a meticulous independent audit, it has obtained ISO 27001 certification.

In order to achieve the accolade, Riello UPS needed to demonstrate the appropriate policies, procedures, and controls to protect and safely manage data in all forms, both online and offline. Gaining the accreditation also proves compliance with directives such as GDPR and NIS (Network and Information Systems) Regulations.

In addition to ISO 27001, Riello UPS was the first UK-based manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies to obtain the international standards ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), plus the British Standard OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety.
