Award-winning technical education company CNet Training has announced that it is partnering with Rahi Systems (Rahi) to provide a 3-day Certified Data Center Design (CDCD®) programme.
The new training programme has been launched for individuals involved in the daily management of existing data centre facilities or hoping to have a better understanding of best practices in the design of new facilities. Participants successfully completing the programme will gain an internationally recognized qualification and may use the CDCD® designation in their professional titles.
Rahi will be organizing 8 sessions with CNet during 2019 at various locations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The first session took place between 5-7 March in Fremont, California, in partnership with Legrand. Additionally, as well as providing a valuable benefit to customers, the programme will give vendors an opportunity to identify any business requirements and problems for data centres.
Andrew Stevens, President, and CEO, CNet Training commented, “We are delighted to be providing the Certified Data Center Design technical education program to Rahi Systems and its partners. It’s great to see companies realizing the importance of continued professional development which in turn will improve quality of service and competitive advantage.”
“We are proud to partner with Rahi and CNet Training to certify our teams and mutual customers to CDCD status said Mike Johnston, Vice President of Channel Sales, Legrand. “This professional development helps customers stay up-to-date with the latest practices and accelerates the design and build-out of their data centre environments.”
“Many of our customers are looking to optimize their data centres to improve energy efficiency and meet today’s business demands,” said Bill Muczko, Executive Vice President of Sales, Rahi Systems. “CNet’s program directly addresses these requirements in terms of electrical distribution, cooling, cabling and other elements of the physical infrastructure. A real-world example guides participants through the business decision-making process as well as project initiation, scoping, implementation and commissioning. An understanding of this framework will help customers ask the right questions and partner more closely with Rahi’s experts in executing their data centre initiatives.
