The construction company Skanska has signed another contract with an existing customer to build another data centre in Arizona, USA. The contract is worth about SEK 2.5 billion and is included in the US order bookings for the third quarter. This is stated in a press release.
Work will now start in October and is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
This morning, Skanska announced a similar order, also worth $2.6 billion, to build a data centre in Arizona. That work is underway and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
