On the evening of Monday 22nd April 2025, DATACENTRE.ME hosted a wonderfully relaxed networking event at The Victory, conveniently located on the concourse at London’s Waterloo Station. The setting was perfect—easy to find, central for those coming from different parts of the city, and just the right mix of informal and professional to allow for genuine, quality conversations.

Our Managing Director Ruth, along with Operations Director Nikki and newly appointed Senior Business Development Manager Rav Bhalla, were joined by a great group of sponsors, supporters, and potential sponsors. This intimate event allowed attendees to connect in a more personal setting and offered those considering sponsorship a chance to hear directly from existing partners about the tangible value of being involved with DCME—straight from the horse’s mouth.

The evening was also an ideal opportunity to introduce Rav to some of the wider DCME network. As someone with deep expertise in sponsorship and events, Rav was excited to hear stories, insights, and feedback directly from those working within the data centre sector. This gathering was the first of many smaller, focused meet-ups we plan to host throughout the year to encourage collaboration and shared growth across our network.

We were delighted to welcome professionals from companies such as Riello UPS, Mitsubishi Electric Europe, SSE Energy Solutions, ABB, Evapco Europe, EnerSys, Vaisala, Thorn and Zumtobel, Scolmore International, Oper8 Global Ltd, Uniflair, and Power Control Ltd, among others. We understand that the Easter break made it tricky for some to attend, so we truly appreciate everyone who made the effort to join us.

We’re now looking ahead to our Ireland Networking Event in Dublin on 12th May, and Ruth and Rav will also be attending events in Cannes this June—we hope to see even more of our fantastic community very soon!
