We’re delighted to announce that Sika Roofing has successfully completed its scheduled two-year reassessment under the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI). This process confirms that Sika Roofing continues to meet the Code’s requirements for providing product information that is clear, accurate, up-to-date, accessible, and unambiguous.
The CCPI was introduced following recommendations from the Building Safety Act and Dame Judith Hackitt’s review of fire safety. It sets out a structured framework to help manufacturers ensure that product information can be relied upon by specifiers, contractors, and those responsible for safety and compliance throughout the built environment.
Sika Roofing’s reassessment included its Hotmelt Structural Waterproofing, Liquid Applied Roofing, Reinforced Bituminous Membrane, and Single Ply Roofing Systems. The independent review examined how product information is created, controlled, and maintained, verifying compliance with all 11 CCPI clauses.
Maintaining CCPI registration demonstrates that Sika Roofing:
- Has documented processes for product information creation, version control, and review.
- Applies clear and accurate wording, avoiding misleading or ambiguous claims.
- Provides traceable evidence for performance data and certifications.
- Continues to improve systems that support transparency and reliability.
