Our modular UPS earns recognition at the CBRE UK Supplier Partner Innovation Challenge finals.

Riello UPS is delighted to announce that Multi Power2 earned a major industry accolade at an annual awards ceremony organised by the commercial property specialist CBRE.

Our modular UPS came out on top at the CBRE UK Supplier Partner Innovation Challenge 2026 event hosted at the global giant’s UK office in London.

The annual Innovation Challenge sees CBRE encourage its key suppliers and partners, such as Riello UPS, to showcase their most forward-thinking products and services.

For 2026, CBRE received more than 300 entries year across 4 categories:

• Smart & Sustainable Solutions
• Soft Services
• Safety & Wellbeing
• Operational Efficiencies.

 We’d put forward Multi Power2 and Multi Power2 Scalable in the Operational Efficiencies category, highlighting the range’s combination of ultra-high up to 98.1% efficiency and robust performance.

From the hundreds of original submissions, we were 1 of just 16 companies (4 finalists in each of the 4 categories) invited to present at the awards final, where we gave informative overview to a judging panel picked from various CBRE departments, partners, end-users, and other key stakeholders.

For the Operational Efficiencies category, judges were specifically assessing the finalists based on criteria including how the solution and/or service delivers operational efficiencies, reduced maintenance costs, process optimisation, and how easy it is to integrate into a customer’s existing setup.

Our presentation explained the performance benefits of using silicon carbide (SiC) components, such as increased power density, improved thermal stability, and enhanced durability. The talk also offered real-life examples of how the Multi Power2’s ultra-high efficiency would deliver customers significant financial and environmental savings without compromising on overall system reliability and performance.

The judging panel chose Multi Power2 as the Operational Efficiencies category winner, with our team receiving a special trophy to mark the victory. As category winners, we also get to work closely with CBRE over the coming 12 months to showcase the Multi Power2 range to its teams, sites, and wider client base.
