Hitema International is developing a new and highly effective soundproofing system, ideal for applications in data centres and other installations where noise reduction is a priority.

With this innovative solution, we can further reduce the noise level of our chillers by up to 10 dB beyond the traditional measures already in place, such as compressor jackets, soundproof compressor enclosures, and low-noise fan nozzles. This advancement marks a significant step forward in the acoustic optimization of our units.

Currently, many industrial installations use dedicated rooms to isolate chillers and contain noise emissions. However, this approach requires a considerable amount of space, which can be a critical factor in environments with structural and logistical constraints. Our new technology achieves effective noise reduction while maintaining a compact footprint—requiring up to one-third of the space compared to traditional solutions. Additionally, it significantly reduces installation time compared to building an entire room around the chiller.
