EA-RS Fire Engineering Ltd and the EA-RS Fire Group Ltd are thrilled to welcome Murray Horne as Group Operations and Continuity Director (Combined Projects).

Murray has worked in the fire industry for more than 2 decades and joins EA-RS Fire Engineering from Hall and Kay Fire Engineering where he held the post of Operations Director, responsible for turnkey operations. In this role Murray was involved in estimating, sales, design, project completion, as well as ongoing maintenance of systems for the Gaseous Extinguishing and Fire Detection Division and will hold similar responsibilities at EA-RS Fire Engineering, as well as heading up the organisations dedicated data centre division.

Murray has had a longstanding relationship with EA-RS Fire Engineering that spans more than 21 years and during this time he has worked with many of the EA-RS Fire Engineering team. He joins with a wealth of experience having supported the BFPSA and the Fire Industry Association with a seat on the Extinguishing Council and is currently co-opted to the FIA with Working Group Gases with EA-RS Fire Engineering’s Technical Service Director  Phil Silverlock.  Murray is also a member of the Standing Panel of Experts at the BRE/LPCB for Fire Detection and Gaseous Extinguishing Systems and has produced questions for the FIA AO exams.
