DURATA BUTTERWICK HOSPICE LEGBURNER FUNDRAISER
DATACENTRE.ME is proud to support Durata's MD, John McGee, in his quest to cycle 500 miles in five days on Zwift, to raise money for the wonderful Butterwick Hospice Care.
Following the success of last years Lockdown Legburner, which rasied a phenomenol £2,665, during the week of the 24th January 2022 John will be attempting to cycle 100 miles a day for five days on Zwift, all from the comfort of the Durata HQ meeting room!
Butterwick Hospice Care offer holistic palliative and supportive care to those suffering with progressive life limiting conditions, their families and loved ones. They provide an Adult Inpatient Unit, a Children and Young Adults Unit, Care Services, Home Care Services, Complementary Therapy plus Bereavement Counselling Services.
John said:
“Prior to Lockdown, I have done several fitness challenges for Butterwick Hospice Care. In 2009, I ran the London Marathon and then in 2011, I completed Lands End to John O'Groats. I have a long standing relationship with the Butterwick and since they have suffered an awful lot in the pandemic, as have all charities, I want to raise as much money as possible to help them out with getting over this.”
