Following the huge success of our inaugural virtual conference & exhibition in October 2020, the DATACENTRE.ME team is delighted to bring you the DCME VIRTUAL International Conference & Exhibition – Spring 2021 – in association with Birmingham City University. This event will take place on Wednesday 28th April 2021. Follow this page for developments and information about this exciting event!
As this is an online event, you may join us from the comfort & convenience of your home or office, anywhere in the world from your computer, mobile phone or other device.
Explore the virtual exhibition hall where you will discover the very latest industry products & services and, of course, you will have the chance to catch up with your favourite suppliers and meet some new ones too. You will be able to view, save and email documents & videos available on the exhibition booths and, if you need more information, you will have the opportunity to pick the brains of the exhibitors & sponsors.
Tune in to listen to a wealth of industry VIPs present and share their thoughts & views within the conference agenda in the virtual auditorium. Additionally you can benefit from the CPD on-demand educational sessions (details can also be found within the conference agenda) or network with your peers within the various networking chats which can be accessed from the networking lounge, You can choose to have one to one chats via text, audio or video or, if you prefer, you can invite other attendees to join in group video conversations, all within the virtual environment.
Despite this being a virtual event, the exhibition floor & conference auditorium will have a very similar look and feel to the physical events that we are all so familiar with. The virtual environment is extremely easy-to-navigate for all visitors & sponsors. We fully understand that many people feel that nothing really beats face to face networking however there are several advantages with an online event of this nature; the main ones being:
- This gives us the ability to continue to offer a safe way of networking and meeting new contacts during these unprecedented times of social distancing and national lock-downs
- The geographical borders are removed therefore allowing attendance from industry professionals from all around the world, but without the inconvenience and cost of travelling and being away from home
The live day will be on Wednesday 28th April 2021 however all content – including the conference sessions and virtual exhibition booths – will remain available on-demand for a further 30 days post-event so you will be able to log back in at your convenience to re-visit the virtual exhibition booths, conference sessions and all associated content at your leisure.
The competitive ones amongst you will love competing with your fellow attendees in the Leaderboard and Scavenger hunt to win prizes – all you need to do is be as pro-active within the virtual environment on the live day to gain points to be in with a chance of winning one of the 17 fantastic prizes on offer, all courtesy of our fabulous exhibitors and sponsors!!! The lucky winners will be announced during our social networking gathering on Zoom at the end of the live day and we will organise for the prizes to be sent directly to the various winners' choice of address. Full details will be provided within the virtual environment when the doors open at 8am on the live day, Wednesday 28th April 2021.
