CNet Training celebrated the second graduation of the Masters Degree in Data Centre Leadership & Management at a ceremony last Thursday, 17th October.

After three years of intense study, students graduated at a ceremony in the famous St Catharine’s College in Cambridge in the east of England.

The official ceremony in Cambridge followed a pre-graduation celebration at St Catharine’s College with the CNet Training team. In addition to CNet being the global leader in technical education for the data centre sector, CNet Training is an Associate College of Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK and is therefore approved to design and deliver the content of this prestigious Masters Degree program.

The Masters Degree in Data Center Leadership and Management was created out of the need to expand existing skills and knowledge of talented technical managers to business leadership. Arming them with contemporary knowledge and capability to manage business imperatives and therefore have a bigger impact on the business itself to contribute to growth, innovation and insight. Program content is written by the CNet Training team in consultation with industry leaders from all over the world.

Andrew Stevens, CEO and President at CNet Training, said: “Huge congratulations to all the graduates this year, today marks the culmination of three years of hard work and commitment. The graduates have fitted the intense study around full-time careers and family life, and we are thrilled to celebrate their achievement and the fact that they have now joined the global elite group in data centre leadership and management. It’s been a wonderful day celebrating the success of our second cohort of students with their families, this award makes graduates extremely desirable to their existing organisations and will positively impact their future careers. We wish all the graduates every bit of success going forward.

Jill Baldwin, Higher and Further Education Program Leader, said: “We are delighted that the learners from the Masters Degree in Data Centre Leadership and Management have been successful and have now graduated, it’s such an amazing accomplishment for them and their hard work has paid off. This is the world’s first Masters Degree for data centre leadership and management and I love being involved and helping the graduates through the program. The Masters Degree never stands still, the team are continually enhancing and developing the program to match the fast-paced nature of the data centre environment to make sure that the program continues to accurately reflects the needs of the data centre and business leadership.”
