PRESS RELEASE: Bouygues Energies & Services has been selected as a preferred contractor on the newly founded Essential Trading Limited (ETL) Zero Carbon Framework. ETL’s new framework agreement provides a model for public sector bodies striving to implement low and zero carbon technologies.

Gregory Allouis, Energy Solutions Director said “This framework is a great opportunity to put our best engineering skills to the service of a noble cause we are committed to: achieving Net Zero. Now, let us work together on the delivery of these projects and cut carbon emissions wherever possible.”

The two lots they have been appointed to include a framework for all-encompassing technologies, such as energy performance contracts. Another one based on heating and renewables. This will be used for larger projects.

The framework agreement will be open to all public sector bodies aiming to progress zero carbon ambitions in line with legislative and sector-led reduction targets. It is believed a great benefit for partners will be the simple tender route it allows and the ability for quick deployment.
