Aermec triumphs at ACR News Awards.

Aermec has announced that it has been awarded first place in the prestigious “Project of the Year” category at this year’s ACR (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) News Awards.

Aermec is extremely proud to be recognised by their peers for the cooling solutions they helped provide for one of the City’s top tech companies, enabling them to reduce energy bills at their mission critical data centre by £200K per annum.

Reliable cooling is a critical and an essential part of any data centre’s infrastructure by taking advantage of super-efficient compressor technologies.  Aermec’s client has not only reduced their carbon footprint and boosted EER ratings but has cut their annual energy bill significantly so that over the next 10 years they can expect to save up to £2 million.

Held online for the very first time, the virtual awards brought together the HVAC industry to recognise innovation and developments that have taken place across our industry.

The ACR News Awards celebrates the achievements and successes of the air conditioning & refrigeration industry, recognising exceptional products, extraordinary companies and remarkable individuals.

Rewarding the companies and individuals that demonstrate excellence in their field, the ACR News Awards scheme is a highly regarded endorsement which helps separate one company from its competitors, elevating that company’s profile within the industry and helping to forge new industry connections with suppliers, customers and investors.

It also has one of the largest testing laboratories in Europe which are Eurovent and AHRI approved. Aermec is actively involved in harnessing new technologies from HVAC compressors, heat exchangers and new motors to working with the latest advances in low GWP refrigerants and its extensive testing facilities ensure that products are rigorously tested and can meet even the most exacting criteria.
