DCME Charity “Christmas Kick-Off” Party 2024 — Our Biggest & Best Yet!
The DCME Charity “Christmas Kick-Off” Party 2024 was a resounding success, bringing together over 500 industry colleagues and peers to celebrate at the heart of the City — our largest turnout to date! The atmosphere was electric in Forge, London as both floors of this stunning venue buzzed with laughter, networking, and festive cheer.
The photobooth was a huge hit, capturing hilarious moments and festive memories for all to enjoy. Marco the Magician had the crowd in awe with his mind-bending tricks, leaving everyone wondering, “How did he do that?!” And, as the evening progressed, the disco kept the dancefloor alive with classic hits and Christmas anthems, ensuring the celebration continued well into the night.

This year, we were honoured to be supported by an incredible 50+ sponsors, whose generosity and enthusiasm made the event truly unforgettable. Their support not only enhanced the experience for our guests but also played a pivotal role in enabling us to donate to our chosen charities.
More than just a celebration, the Charity “Christmas Kick-Off” Party had a purpose. Thanks to the support of attendees and sponsors, we are proud to announce that we have donated over £10,000 to four chosen charities: Alzheimer’s Society, Barnardo’s, MSF (Doctors Without Borders), and Just4Children (Keystone Sponsor Riello UK’s nominated charity). This remarkable achievement reflects the very heart of why the annual DCME Christmas Party was created — to unite the entire industry through our community platform, fostering connection, celebration, and the opportunity to give back to those in need.
The DCME Christmas Party has become a cherished tradition in the data centre industry’s calendar, offering a unique opportunity for friends, colleagues, and industry peers to come together, not just as professionals but as a united community. Unlike typical networking events, this is a chance to relax, celebrate, and share in the festive spirit.
