Whitecroft Lighting provides specialist lighting solutions engineered for data centres and data halls, addressing the particular requirements of high-temperature, mission-critical environments. Its approach combines high-efficiency LED luminaires, intelligent controls and application-driven lighting design to support reliability, compliance, operational efficiency and reduced energy consumption.
At the centre of its data hall offering is Light Line, a modular LED trunking system purpose-built for data centre environments. Pre-assembled and pre-tested sections enable rapid plug-and-play installation, with Whitecroft reporting installation rates of up to 250 metres per day and potential reductions in time on site of up to 50%.
Light Line is designed for demanding white-space conditions, including environments above 50°C. High-performance optics and luminaires exceeding 190 lm/W help reduce installed lighting load, while smart controls can further reduce unnecessary energy consumption and contribute to improved PUE. The system is also designed to provide vertical and horizontal illumination aligned with TIA-942 and EN 12464 requirements.
Sustainability and circularity are also integral to Whitecroft’s data centre proposition. Light Line uses more than 70% recycled aluminium and is designed so components can be replaced or upgraded without dismantling the complete system. Whitecroft supports projects from early design consultancy through to handover, covering data halls, operational areas, rooftop services, administration spaces and external areas.
