CRAH UNIT IMPROVES POWER USAGE – A KELVION CASE STUDY
INTRODUCTION:
This case study from Kelvion describes how they met the challenge of providing a new computer room air handling (CRAH) unit for a data centre in the United States.
The customer was a hyper-scale data centre based in the midwestern United States and they required a CRAH that would meet two criteria:
- Improve thermal efficient
- Improve power usage effectiveness (PUE)
The customer was keen to have new equipment installed. This was to ensure it was more operationally and energy efficient.
Kelvion has wide experience in manufacturing and supplying CRAH technology, which allowed them to rise to this challenge.
THIS CASE STUDY CONCLUDES:
Kelvion worked collaboratively across different teams from the UK and the US. In doing this they were able to interact with the customer and successfully complete this project.
